Technical BA with STRONG SQL background

Key Skills  - Technical BA with strong SQL, analysis and reporting skills. Must have some Financial Background   Responsibilities:

 

  • Work as part of a team within the firm’s IT Application Development department
  • Independently manage project deliverables and follow-up with business stakeholders and vendor partners/developers
  • Understand the context in which data is used within the business and match business requirements to the sources of data within systems
  • Perform analysis of system data with an end goal of identifying a solution to the business’ issue. Depending on the issue, the solution may involve clearly defining a process including technical design of solutions, utilizing a new feature, creating an enhancement to an existing system or developing an entirely new system
  • Design reports according to business requirements using various reporting tools, including SQL Server Reporting Services, Excel, and Crystal
  • Create and maintain process documents, data management policies and procedures
  • When necessary design and deliver training sessions to business and accounting users
  • Ability to troubleshoot and report on system/data issues
  • Develop  and oversee QA test plans and scripts following SDLC methodology and Fortress internal control procedures
  • Interact with industry vendors to maintain state-of-the-art knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices

 Qualifications:

  • SQL Server, T-SQL experience
  • Reporting experience (Crystal, SSRS or similar)
  • Some experince - Ability to write / understand ETL processes ( SSIS)
  • Candidates for this position must have strong knowledge and experience in supporting GL platforms, interfacing with users, and solving problems
  • Good to have :  some experience with Yardi, MRI, Real Pages, Lawson or other ERP/EHR solutions is highly desirable
