Carriers experience must :- MACD circuits – move, add, change, disconnect circuits in telecom / internet services with carriers
• Need candidates to order circuits, shop around with providers, etc
• CCNA required (CCNP not required)
• Need junior to mid-level

• Scheduling and planning skills for Networking / Telecom tasks

Network and Telecom Administrator
Full-time
Perform monthly and quarterly analysis over all telecom expenses to identify significant or unusual activity
Managing and resolving identified invoice exceptions.
Managing all existing telecommunication services for the CDN and US;
Coordinate new store locations with Telecom services locations;
Facilitating acquisition account transfers
Maintain all existing network equipment and telecommunication services for the CDN and US locations.
Work with other department to coordinate new store locations with Telecom services.
Interact with all Telecom vendors in regards to identifying or resolving any issues with telecom contracts, service agreements, rates and invoices.
Track, review and approve Telecom invoices for payment utilizing a company wide data base. (Asentinel)
Identify and terminate any inactive or faulty phone lines.
Coordinate and maintain telecommunication systems within Corporate Head Office.
Support Wireless infrastructure for end users and manages MDM application.
Use Telecom Expense Management tools for optimize costs.
Provide backup support in: NMM and DFC Telecommunications systems, including TCP/IP hardware, VOIP, telephone lines and wireless, networking issues.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
A BS degree in Telecommunications engineer or related discipline.
Experience
At least 3 years of experience in the Telecom industry. Post-secondary degree or equivalent in relevant work experience.
Knowledge of telecom requirements for efficient operation at the Head Office and retail store locations. Extensive knowledge of Telecom lines, systems and services. Knowledge in the telecom contracts and asset management. Knowledge of cellular phones technology. Working knowledge in MS Office. Project management skills are an asset.
Cisco network certification - CCNA
Skills
Working knowledge of Telecom lines, systems and services.

Coordinate installs and updates with minimal interruption for end-users.

Works with key vendors to problem solve all disruption of services within DFG locations.
This position is responsible for working with the key Telecom vendors with regards to submitting orders and approving costs inside the negotiated rates.
Resolves scheduling conflicts with other departments for installation of all new services.
