Position:  ETL Developers
Location: Greensboro, NC
Duration: 6 - 12 months
Description:

The ideal ETL developer is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and troubleshooting ETL solutions to support the implementation and integration of the a policy administration system.  The technical landscape consists of Microsoft technologies (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, TFS, etc.).  Throughout the development lifecycle, the ETL developer is expected to adhere to standards, procedures and practices; be an active part of the team - providing input on designs and estimates; develop innovative, maintainable, and high performance ETL code; plan and execute ETL code delivery in a timely fashion. The successful candidate will work well both independently and as part of a team, demonstrate solid technical and professional skills, and proactively seek opportunities to contribute and grow. 
Responsibilities

Develop, implement and maintain ETL solutions for the delivery of data

Document solutions using clear, standard language

Partner with DBA and applications and application development teams to develop strategic ETL solutions

Work within standard project methodology prescribed by the company

Ability to use strong troubleshooting skills to work through issues during development and to address production support concerns

Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science, information systems, or related field
Experience

5 years active ETL development experience using Microsoft technologies

Analytical troubleshooting, technical documentation and communication, project task estimation, advanced ETL design and development concepts

Familiarity with project methodologies including Agile Scrum are required 

Technical Skills
Must Have

Direct experience with MS TFS, SQL Server and SSIS

Expertise in ETL development best practices and standards

 

Understanding of data modeling concepts. Exceptional communication skills
