Job Location: Dallas, TX or New Jersey or Phoenix, AZ or Bethesda, MD

Job Type: Fulltime

Job description:

Ø  Experience in defining & realizing end-to-end Technical Architecture for large & complex systems

Ø  8+ years of experience in IT including at least 18 months in Architecture roles

Ø  4+ years with hands-on experience Java/JEE ; Struts/JSF, Spring, EJB, JMS

Ø  Proficient in UNIX/Linux environments

Ø  Strength in OOAD using UML & in application of design patterns

Ø  Expertise in creating technical documents like Architecture views, Technology Architecture blueprint and Design specification

Ø  Experience in Architecture consulting engagements is a plus

Ø  Follow trends in technology and have a point of view

Soft Skills:

Ø  Good communication and presentation skills

Ø  High integrity

Ø  Problem solving skills & learning attitude

Ø  Team player

Ø  Process oriented

Key responsibilities:

Ø  Define and own end-to-end Architecture from definition phase to go-live phase

Ø  Ensure clarity on NFR and address these requirements during Architecture definition phase

Ø  Define Logical, Technical & Physical views of Architecture

Ø  Define reusable components/frameworks, common schemas, standards to be used & tools to be used and help bootstrap the engineering team

Ø  Review design to make sure design is aligned with Architecture

Ø  Lead performance engineering and capacity planning exercises

Ø  Help PM in identifying key technical risks and mitigation plan for the same

Ø  Help PM in effort estimation and planning

Ø  Mentor & guide Tech Leads & Software Engineers
