Senior QA Test Engineer

DESCRIPTION:

This position will support the testing of FDOT, an application used for account setup, maintenance and TOA's.  The majority of the testing is done using Quality Center 10, so a proven track record with these tools is preferred. 

• Review design specifications and provide guidance to development and business sponsors regarding potential issues.
• Develop test strategies; write test plans and test cases for system enhancements and improvements.
• Develop and execute test plans according to published technical documentation and requirements
• Create and execute automated and/or manual tests using SOATest and Quality Center.  
• Maintain metrics for project testing status.

Education and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience performing all aspects of functional testing utilizing test tools such as Quality Center 10, and ParasoftSOATest
• Experience with testing WEB and/or distributed application systems
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases from project requirement lists and technical documentation.
• Experience with HP Quality Center 10 for test case and defect management
• Experience of involvement in Agile and Waterfall Software Development Life Cycles.

• Proven ability to work cooperatively and effectively with business partners and development partners.
• Strong verbal, written communications and analytical skills
• Ability to manage priorities and workload associated with multiple, concurrent projects.
