Associate Scientist / Chemist

Qualifications:
Knowledge of experimental design; good technical writing skills;

Computer skills including MS Excel, MS Word, Lotus Notes; Ability to learn MS Project, MS PowerPoint, and statistical software;

Demonstrated understanding of both analytical and organic chemistry, HPLC, wet chemistry, Infrared, and UV-Vis.;

The ability to apply sound technical and scientific judgment including use of statistical methods to identify and resolve technical issues.

Responsibilities:
Performs analytical and wet chemical assays, interprets analytical data, as well as support and completes multiple projects of varying scope under moderate supervision.

Comments/Special Instructions
Please ensure that the potential candidates have at least 1 year of experience in a laboratory environment outside of school work, preferably in a cGMP environment. Their Bachelors (B.S.) degree should also be in a Life Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, etc.) or Chemical Engineering field. Additional M.S. education is preferred, but not required.
