Janfay Corporate Recruiting is seeking an experienced Accountant to fill a high-profile role to assist with Process Improvement for a top recognized leader and one of Greater Cincinnati's continually growing companies. Join an organzation with multiple entities and several opportunities to grow internally and within other divisions.
Develop and maintain an inventory of all balance sheet accounts (40%)
· Review account activity
· Determine account owner
· Classify accounts as high or low risk
Develop and maintain a reconciliation tracking process (40%)
· Establish guidelines for account owners to report reconciliation completeness and accuracy
· Establish a process for continual updating of accounts and owners
· Establish a process for reporting to senior management
· Establish a process to review at risk accounts, monitor balances out of a normal range & dormant balances
Education of Account Owners (20%)
· Establish definition of the account owner role
· Ensure account owners understand their reconciliation responsibilities
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
7 – 10 years accounting experience
Strong process improvement experience, preferred
